Moonlit Beach Walk

Here is a late-night walk on the Lake Michigan shore. Roman lived on the lake for several years and would wander the beach to unwind after busy nights working at the restaurants in Charlevoix. Pale sand curves past breaking waves toward a dark stand of pines, lavender dunes and wind-bent beach grass fill the foreground, and a big orange spiral and yellow stars spin through a blue sky in thick, swirling strokes. This painting is still wet and will not ship until December 8 at the earliest.
