Here is the curve on Spring Street in downtown Eureka Springs, Arkansas, where Crescent Moon Beads and Quicksilver come together. A giant shade tree grows out of the Eureka Springs Grill, its yellow-green leaves laid on in thick, choppy strokes against a swirling blue sky. There is talk of cutting it down, and Roman hopes they find a way to keep it. Below, a green-trimmed porch and a red door line the sidewalk. This painting is still wet and will not ship until December 10 at the earliest. Reproduced from the original oil painting by Roman.
