A row of boathouses follows the curved shoreline of the Belvedere Club's bayou, their roofs catching green and gold while the water behind them breaks into restless blue. Painted with little blending and bursts of pink bleeding through at the edges, the scene holds the particular light of a Charlevoix summer afternoon.
